COVID-19 Update

Latest COVID-19 update from St Mary's  ( latest update 28-03-2020, 10am)

Our Archbishops of Canterbury and York have SUSPENDED ALL PUBLIC WORSHIP UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  So inline with this guidance all  SUNDAY MORNING FAMILY COMMUNION WILL BE CLOSED DOWN, along with all our Sunday evening and midweek services until further notice

Baptisms and Weddings - are all cancelled until further notice

Funerals -  Funerals may now only happen at the Crematorium or at the graveside. Only immediate family members can attend (if the crematorium allows) – that is, spouse or partner, parents and children, keeping their distance in the prescribed way.

All planned events have also been cancelled until further notice.

Online Service

OUR SERVICE WILL BE RECORDED & STREAMED ON BOTH OUR WEBSITE AND FACEBOOK PAGE AT 10AM ON SUNDAYS.

So for the time being, we’ll have to get used to a different pattern of Sunday morning service.

We’ll still be joining together as St Mary’s Church, but in a new way.  To quote the Archbishops, we aren’t “shutting up shop” but facing the current challenge by being a different sort of church.
